We are excited to announce our catering coordinator position. Our company offers a variety of unique experience including food trucks, venue rentals, & so much more. The person we are seeking is someone who wants that is looking for a long term situation and work for a grinding company. Scheduling is also flexible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the setup and follow-through of banquet events.
Exercise a strong knowledge of the facility and specific event expectations.
Provide clear instructions to other banquet team members.
Ensure appropriate staff is available and scheduled to support the event host on the day of the event. Remain available to offer additional support as needed.
Work closely with the location manager teams and ensure event execution is per guests’ expectations.
Manage scheduling, inventory, labor management, and evaluations.
Provide clear and timely feedback regarding coaching & counseling of team members.
Give clear directions to fellow team members and maintain a professional, energetic work environment.
Direct and organize the team members involved in event execution.
Work closely with the rest of the Food and Beverage team to ensure successful operations
Responsible for daily labor management.
Responsible for inventory controls
About You:
4+ years of experience in event management with at least 1 years of experience in catering sales.
Proven venue management experience with strong knowledge of event logistics for weddings, corporate events and outdoor venues.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced sometimes high-stress environment.
Highly organized and self-motivated with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
