A national law firm providing legal services to the mortgage banking industry is in need of a Litigation Attorney for their Seattle office. In this role you will be focused on representing lenders in mortgage law litigation. Position requires (a) an active licensed in WA and (b) 2+ years of mortgage law experience. This position is hybrid with 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The annual billable hours requirement is 1400 hours. Base salary of $125,000-160,000 + annual bonus + beneifts.salary: $125,000 - $160,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: DoctoralResponsibilities Initial intake and analysis on files and generate strategy and budget within a 24-hour time frame.Must have strong writing skills and be able to draft civil litigation documents ranging from discovery to dispositive motions and client correspondence.Review chain of title, pleadings, foreclosure documents, and respond to lender and agent requests.Think on your feet and quickly shift task to task depending on daily needs.Make court appearances across Washingtonand provide same-day client updates.Field questions from staff, and assist in an affable manner.Write, review, and edit reports, opinions, correspondence, articles for compliance purposes.
