Gillin Law Group is seeking a full-time bilingual immigration legal assistant to work on-site in the firm’s Lynnwood, WA location. This is not a remote position, and this position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship.
RESPONSIBILITIES (partial list):
Managing cases and communicating directly with clients;
Preparing immigration petitions and supporting documentation for the various immigration agencies including Homeland Security, State Department and the Immigration Court;
Answering phone calls and general client intake procedures;
Meeting with clients
QUALIFICATIONS:
Fluent in English language;
Fluency in another language (preference will be given to Chinese (Cantonese), Spanish, Portuguese, and Korean);
Experience with Microsoft Office, PDF software, and ability to learn new software;
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines;
Ability to prioritize and multitask;
Excellent professional communication skills;
Experience with some aspect of U.S. immigration preferred, whether personal or professional
COMPENSATION:
Wages depend on experience;
Two weeks paid vacation per year with accrual time beginning after 6 months of employment;
Medical and dental insurance provided after 6 months of employment
