DBL Business and Immigration Law located in Bellevue, Washington, is looking for a full-time associate attorney with 3-5 years’ experience in a variety of business and business-related matters. You will be working independently on many projects with minimal supervision. We help small business owners deal with regulatory and legal issues so that they can focus on their customers and business needs. We also provide general counsel services to small businesses with appropriate and timely legal advice. We pride ourselves in providing efficient and cost saving services to our clients.
You will be working directly with our clients assisted by our team members to determine the clients’ needs and to craft reasonable solutions to their problems.
This position requires a well-organized responsible self-starter and who can begin working on matters without significant training. Responsibilities include reviewing and preparing contracts, agreements, and leases; reviewing business and financial records; drafting letters; engaging in negotiations with the other party; preparing some pleadings including minor motions and discovery related matters; delegating work to legal assistants; providing general counsel type of advice to business clientele by phone and email; and collaborating with others related to the matter on hand.
Effective and persuasive writing skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills are a must.
Competitive salary depending on experience ($110,000 to $125,000/year), 401(k) after 6 months with matching contribution, medical and dental benefits after 3 months.
