The Washington State Department of Ecology is hiring Adult Litter Crew Members for the Ecology Litter Corps in Clark, Thurston, and Pierce Counties!

Description: Adult Litter Crew Member – 9 month – Seasonal
Location: Clark, Thurston, and Pierce County
Opportunity to work outside and make a real difference in keeping WA roads and public lands clean!
Full-time, seasonal position March – November.
Monday – Thursday, 10-hour shifts (40hrs/week). Scheduled hours are 6:30 am – 5 pm. Must be at least 18+.

Duties: Set up road signs and cones, pick up litter, recycle, and clean along highways, interchanges, and public places.
Job requirements: heavy lifting up to 40 pounds, walking 2-6 miles/day on rough terrain, constant bending, sitting/driving for long periods of time, working in all weather conditions, efficient work in stressful situations, and strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills. Must adhere to safety policies and procedures. Experience in natural resources/solid waste desired.
