We value partnerships with project managers, vendors, and employees delivering high-quality work on time. This is a sophisticated commercial company that is now looking to grow the team and is looking for a Shop and Delivery Driver Lead.
Job Requirements:
A Shop and Delivery Driver Lead is expected to organize, maintain, and design the company’s properties to be as efficient and clean as possible. In addition, the Lead needs to be able to drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver materials to our various jobsites and properties. The Lead would work under the Operations manager and support the needs of 3+ commercial install teams, a superintendent, and a maintenance team. It is expected that the following requirements will be met prior to an application being presented to JH Landscaping & Irrigation:
- 1 to 2 years of construction, delivery, or shop management experience.
- The ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and in an effective manner.
- A valid driver’s license/documentation to work in Washington State.
- Reliable means of transportation to and from work.
- The ability to read emails, review calendars, and perform basic administrative skills.
- Experience driving larger trucks (non-CDL) on busy construction sites and other less than ideal conditions.
- Able to adeptly speak/write/read English and Spanish effectively.
- The ability to organize a property, nurseries, and materials in a functional and clean manner.
