SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Service Technician provides different services, depending on area of expertise, and diagnosing problems and making repairs with roofing related issues. Excellent customer relations skills and strong communications skills with management, employees, and customers.
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. – 40 HOURS

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Roofer to diagnose problems and present solutions to repair them.
Diagnose problems and present solutions to repair them.
Complete diagnostics with photos and communicate findings with Service Manager.
Perform professional repairs in a timely manner.
Communicate itinerary and stats with Service Manager.
Ability to repair low and steep slope roofing.
Understanding of various repair methods.
Cleans up all waste and leaves customer’s site in as good or better condition that when the job was started.
Follow OSHA regulations and other regulatory agencies related to job site safety and demonstrates safe work practices.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Construction safety certification such as OSHA training is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years roofing experience.(steep and flat roof knowledge).
EDUCATION/LICENSES/ERTIFICATION/FORMAL TRAINING:
High school education or equivalent.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ESSENTIAL ABILITIES:

General knowledge of roofing procedures, techniques, and specialties.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Physical fitness level that will allow for quick movement, climbing, bending, and lifting heavy loads.
Endurance to spend hours working in extreme weather conditions such as heat or cold.
Able to safely ascend/descend a ladder frequently.
Ability to climb roofs.
Ability to go into customer attics and diagnose problems and make repairs.
Must have ability lift and carry up to 100 lbs. frequently.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work performed outdoors.in a wide variety of weather conditions and temperatures.
Must have own tools.
Must have clear MVR in order to drive company vehicle.
