We are seeking a reliable, hardworking individual to join our Salvaged Lumber Warehouse (SLW) team. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that will evolve as operations grow. Initially, you’ll assist with preparing our current facility and supporting the setup of the new Salvage Lumber Warehouse. Once launched, you’ll play a key role in processing reclaimed lumber, supporting warehouse operations, and helping customers on the sales floor.
This is a physical job that requires flexibility, teamwork, and a willingness to learn. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and ready to jump into a variety of tasks each day.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with lumber handling, de-nailing, sorting, and stacking reclaimed wood
Operate equipment such as planers, saws, and forklifts (training provided)
Removing nails and fasteners from reclaimed lumber
Help set up warehouse infrastructure and organize materials
Participate in loading/unloading trucks and general facility maintenance
Support the sales floor by pulling orders, assisting customers, or staging materials
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Adapt to evolving responsibilities as operations scale
Qualifications
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
Willingness to learn equipment and tools (prior experience a plus, but not required)
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Interest in sustainability, reuse, or woodworking is a bonus
