We are an organic & sustainable landscaping company with a focus on re-wilding and soil rehabilitation. Our methodology is rooted in permaculture, we take a holistic approach with urban gardening making our systems slightly complex and based on the needs of the client and the scope of each job.
We currently need someone who is proficient with plant identification, organic weeding, fine pruning and driving a truck. Please provide a list of landscaping/gardening tasks you are familiar with doing independently. Given that we are a regenerative based company, our methods and practices are often quite different than traditional (and even organic) landscaping businesses. If you are coming from conventional landscaping will need to have a very open mind and be willing to throw some of the hard rules you’ve been taught at other jobs into the compost bin.
You need to have had experience in manual labor and preferably in the agricultural/horitcultural sector to apply for this position. The harsh realities of working in cold rain & hot sun are not something we are willing to train somebody in at this time.
We are a queer and family owned small business committed to serving the plants and people of Seattle (in that order) and highly encourage queer folks and other minorities to apply.
