We are a small family owed RV park looking for a part-time maintenance worker. We can offer up to 30 hours per week (depending on workload) and you must be willing to be on call for emergencies. Worker must be friendly to customers, high work ethic, have the ability to work independently, and have a reliable form of communication (cell phone, etc.).
Duties:
-Provides maintenance and repairs to water, electrical and plumbing
-Provide routine maintenance for vehicles and machinery. Experience as a mechanic is a definite plus.
-Landscaping – provide support to the landscaping staff as needed
-Communicates on a regular basis with the Office Staff regarding issues, prioritization of tasks, and repair and maintenance that could require outside contractors.
-Be friendly to all customers
-Performs related work as required. “Jack of all trades” a plus
Qualifications and Requirements:
-Experience in maintenance activity as related to job duties outlined above
-Possess technical skills to address routine repairs as outlined above
-Self-Starter with excellent time management skills
-Ability to complete work assignments in various outdoor/indoor situations as needed
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment
-At least 18 years of age
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written form
-Must have a reliable form of communication (cell phone, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to lift at least 50 pounds (supplies, equipment, etc.)
-Bending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, laying horizontally, climbing, walking, etc., as the job may require
-Ability to climb a ladder and step ladder
-Safely use manual tools and power equipment common in maintenance and landscaping environments.
