Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Janitor with proven experience in maintaining commercial properties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a clean, orderly, and safe environment in accordance with established standards and procedures.
This position will be working in the Georgetown area. Shifts on Tuesday and Thursday are open but need to be completed prior to 6:30pm. Monday, Wednesday and Friday you can begin after 4pm. Shifts are between 3 to 5 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.
Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a commercial janitor or in a similar role.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
