GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining a beautiful Club house in clean and perfect working order. Responsibilities include the setup and teardown of rooms and setting up all A/V equipment for events, classes and programs.

DUTIES:

Responsible for opening the building each morning and turning off alarm.

Responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the entire clubhouse, overseeing the

Housekeeper to ensure all rooms and rest rooms are in working order, stocked and cleaned

properly.

Responsible for the cleanliness of main entry, garage entrance, back alley, garage, deck and

sidewalks.

Responsible for the setting up rooms and A/V (microphone, projectors, screens, and staging)

for classes, special activities, programs, dining events and private events.

Responsible for light fixtures and bulb or balist replacement as needed.

Be familiar with the house and auditorium lighting, fuse boxes, circuit breakers, fire

equipment, and controls for microphones and sound equipment.

Lights: Turn off all Ballroom lighting prior to leaving each day, unless there is an evening event.

Help the House Trustee and her committee with holiday decorating setup and teardown.

All duties are subject to change at the request of the Executive or Assistant Manager.

Along with Housekeeper maintain all floors, walls and doors, including wiping down, vacuuming,

mopping, spot cleaning and touch up painting of walls and doors.

Weekly check of the boiler room to make sure there are no leaks or equipment failures.

Performs light plumbing and electrical repairs.

Is familiar with all breakers, water and natural gas shutoff valves.

The first and foremost goal of the Women's University Club Staff is to be of service to the

members and to make each member feel the club is theirs.
