Overview:
We are currently seeking entry-level and experienced individuals to join our team for metal building projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to begin a career in construction or transition from another trade to one with greater potential for growth. Our company provides consistent work, with no one having had to file for unemployment in the past seven years.
Job Description:
As part of our team, you will be responsible for erecting metal buildings by installing primary and secondary steel components, as well as metal siding, roofing, insulation, and trim. Each project presents unique challenges, allowing you to continually learn and enhance your skills, leading to potential salary increases.
While some travel may be required, the majority of our work is located in Western Washington. For out-of-town projects, we provide hotel accommodations and Per Diem.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Reliable: Punctual attendance with basic commercial personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a hardhat, gloves, boots, and a hi-vis vest or jacket.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in using standard construction tools, and experience with sheet metal hand tools (e.g. snips, shears, rivet gun) is a plus.
- Attention to detail is crucial, as our work contributes to the finished product on high-value projects.
Candidates are expected to bring their own basic hand tools (tape measure, square, utility knife, pencil, and tool belt) and gradually add to their tool collection over time.
