Looking for an ambitious individual to help maintain a growing Ag operation. Raising Cane Ranch is a small farm in the Snohomish River Valley specializing in apple production, agroforestry, cattle, and conservation. Recently, we have planted hundreds of trees and shrubs for our newest food forest. We could use some help maintaining this two acre plot along with our existing apple orchards and riparian buffers. Duties include: mowing, weed whipping, weeding, applying mulch and compost, pruning, spraying, flower and fruit thinning, and harvest. Interest and knowledge of agroforestry, berries, fruit trees, nut trees, and PNW native plants are a plus.
Applicants must be comfortable operating a riding lawnmower, tractor, and hand-held line trimmer. Wage is competitive and dependent on experience. Please reply with resume or a letter of interest and applicable job experience.
