Experienced Torch Cutter, Full Time
Local scrap yard looking for a motivated and hardworking employee to process metals and heavy equipment for scrap. We are American Northwest Recycling in Port Orchard, WA. We recycle several different types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals from our customers. If you enjoy working with your hands and don’t mind hard work, we’d love you to come work with us.
We are looking to hire one position for a torch cutter who will use a cutting torch to cut various metal materials into smaller pieces for further processing. Their responsibilities include:
Operating safety equipment and following safe work habits.
Cutting and preparing scrap metal and cutting it down to size using industrial cutting machines.
Maintaining safety procedures and servicing cutting equipment.
Hours of processors are M-F 7:45-4:30 every other Saturday 8:45am-2:00pm. This position required lifting of up to 75 lbs and we work in all weather conditions. We also buy lunch for the whole crew every Friday. Come join our growing family!
