Work below surface of water, using Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus (SCUBA) and/or Surface Supply Air (SSA) gear to plant, harvest, maintain, survey, inspect, repair, remove, or install shellfish equipment, devices, and structures.
Requirements
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, achieving above average production amounts while maintaining a positive attitude and producing to an exceptional standard.
Attend and participate in diver safety meetings, general safety meetings and other training.
Knowledge of tides, currents, dive gear and equipment.
Driver’s license and preference for safe boater’s license.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Summary
Our divers are paid a blended rate of hourly rate, dive time, and tend time. Pay will range DOQ, and have Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III. The company provides and pays for employees medial, dental, vision, Aflac, pet insurance, Long-term Care, AD& D and Life Insurance. We have 401K with a 6% match after 1 year of service.
