Delivery Driver + Facility Maintenance

Job Requirements:

Must maintain a valid driver s license and clean driving record.

Must maintain a Washington State Food Worker card

Must be able to lift 60lbs repeatedly and unassisted, and 200lbs assisted.

Able to work with or without direct supervision

Standing, walking, bending, stooping throughout the day.

Adherence to safe lifting practices.

Repetitive motions throughout the day.

Daily use of computers, printers, box knives, heat sealers, and other equipment.

Drive company vehicle, make deliveries to our multiple locations.

Communicate professionally and respectfully with team members throughout the day.

Communicating supplies ordering needs with management.

Share responsibility with team in ensuring the production facility is maintained.

Support fellow members of the production team in packaging, fulfilling orders, maintaining organization, etc.

Keep inventory of dry goods, including supplies needed for daily operations.

May be required to fill-in for other roles as the need arises.

Efficient time management, prioritizing tasks to guarantee smooth flow of work.

Must be able to perform light carpentry, electrical and plumbing repair.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising Warehouse Operations: Managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring efficient space utilization and optimized workflows.

Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, and implementing inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and prevent stockouts.

Order Fulfillment: Overseeing the picking, packing, and shipping of orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to multiple locations.

Safety and Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Equipment Maintenance: Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of warehouse and facility equipment, ensuring it is in good working order and safe to operate.

Collaboration: Communicating and collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflows.

Organization: Maintain the interior and exterior cleanliness, organization and functionality of the warehouse and adjacent spaces on a daily basis.

Vehicle: Operates and maintains the company van. Schedules necessary maintenance, keeps it clean, organized and running safely.

Essential Skills:

Leadership and Communication: Ability to motivate and manage a team, effectively communicate instructions, and resolve conflicts.

Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, keep workspaces organized, manage multiple responsibilities, and troubleshooting issues that arise in the warehouse environment.

Safety Awareness: An understanding of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse operations.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform tasks that require physical activity, such as lifting and moving items.

Coffee Experience: Experience in the coffee industry is a plus but not required. A desire to learn about and grow within the coffee industry, and/or experience working with your hands in a production or similar environment.

Facility & Repair: Ability to perform light carpentry, plumbing and electrical repair. Having an interest in learning how things work is encouraged.

Medical, Dental & Vision. Eligible on the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Must maintain at least 30 hours per week.

80 hours of vacation is offered after completing 12 months of employment then prorated for the first year.
