A DAY IN THE LIFE!
Enjoy a variety of daily tasks that range from custodial work to grounds keeping to facilities maintenance! Responsibilities range from maintaining the office, mowing, snow removal, HVAC work, and more!
WHO ARE YOU?
You are an experienced individual who understands the importance of being in a position responsible for maintaining our facilities. You enjoy having tasks that can change daily and you enjoy a challenge!
YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Custodial duties include cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, and sanitizing the office, including floors, restrooms, showers, lunchrooms, and kitchen. Additionally, you will also restock supplies and empty trash cans.
Groundskeeping duties include Landscaping, mowing, weed eating, watering, weeding, pruning, fertilizing, and the use of herbicides. You will also maintain the cleanliness of the grounds. When necessary, you will also manage snow removal.
Facility maintenance duties include routine maintenance work on plumbing, electrical, lighting, HVAC, carpentry, clearing out storm drain vaults, and more. Additionally, you may help move desks/furniture, and help with the setup/teardown for company events.
YOUR SKILLSET
Comfortability in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Excellent communication with a varying range of personalities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Washington driver’s license.
Able to operate a tractor with attachable equipment (e.g. loader bucket and box scraper).
Able to operate and maintain cleaning equipment and power equipment.
Knowledge of fertilizers, insecticides, and herbicides used in ground care and gardening.
Able to respond to after-hours emergencies such as snow removal, gate or door malfunctions, plumbing clogs or scheduled events requiring additional support.
Employment is contingent upon completion of the SPD employment process (including a background check).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
First aid knowledge and CPR certification.
Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, sheetrock repair, painting, pressure washing, tiling, and equipment repair and maintenance.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE
Salary: $18 - $22 per hour, decided based on experience.
Schedule: Full-time on-site; Monday - Friday.
