BDZ Construction is searching for a yard attendant/ Steam cleaner to add to the team. This position is responsible for cleaning heavy equipment, organizing yard space, general landscaping. Also assists mechanics on shop or field repairs and reports condition of vehicle and equipment conditions to Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operating yard forklift.
Operating heated pressure washer.
Basic welding and acetylene torch use.
Steam cleaning equipment and vehicles, scraping grease, washing windows, detailing interior.
Organizing shop and yard space.
Understands company safety program and follows appropriate protocols when working on equipment.
Operating heavy equipment around yard(loaders, excavators, backhoes etc.)
Experience a plus but willing to train motivated individuals.

Ability to lift and carry 50lbs or more
Capable of keeping records organized
Self driven
Keep a clean work environment
Able to climb in, on, and around equipment with flexibility for awkward reaches and positions
Schedule:
Start at 7:00am Monday through Friday with possible overtime required daily
