Construction Superintendent
Home remodeling and construction company is looking for a Superintendent with 5-8+ years of experience. We are seeking a Superintendent to: run jobs start to finish, work directly with the clients, manage permits, read plans and drawings, and manage/instruct a crew.
Desired skillset:
- Ability to run a construction project - including planning, scheduling, and coordinating inspections - will need computer skills
- Detailed knowledge of construction processes/tasks
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plan sets
- Experience in all areas of construction: -foundation, framing, carpentry, finish work, cabinetry, punch list items, painting, and drywall
- Basic electrical/plumbing knowledge
- Experience in managing people. You will be managing crews of 2 to 6 people, at multiple work sites, and will need the ability to teach, stay on schedule, and take corrective action if needed.
- Ability to be a team player - take direction from supervisor
- Ability to track time and write weekly/monthly schedules
Must have reliable transportation, excellent communication skills, a willingness to work hard and learn new things and be trustworthy.
We work four 10 hour days, Monday through Thursday 7am to 5:30pm - giving you Fridays off.
