We are currently looking for a mechanic that can diagnose and repair vehicles. We work on many different types of vehicles. Need to be able to repair A/C, timing belts, timing chains, replace engines, replace transmissions, suspension components, brakes, drivelines, electrical diagnosis and repair, etc. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience.
Duties and responsibilities:
-General vehicle repairs and maintenance
-Complete full safety inspections
-Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing
-Provide advisors with required parts that are needed for repairs and replacements
-Test drive vehicles after repairs are complete to determine if any other problems exist
-Troubleshoot and conduct both mechanical and electrical diagnoses
Qualifications:
-Must be reliable
-Team player and ability to work with others
-Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
-Previous experience in automotive industry
-Attention to detail
-Certification preferred but not required
-5 or more years of automotive repair experience
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to operate diagnostic tools required
-Perform alignments, inspections, repairs
-Perform A/C diagnosis and repair
-Perform safety inspections and provide recommendations for the advisor
