We are looking for an assistant manager who loves to be a hands-on and it lead by example type of manager. This position also requires good computer and MS Office skills.
Origin (morning) sort entails:
Managing movement of equipment.
Pushing carts in front of full air containers (ULD).
Scan mail packages in or out of ULDs depending on the sort.
Loading the mail in or out the carts depending on the sort.
Push carts into trailers.
This is some of the computer work.
Setting up Excel sheets for that morning sort.
Send and receive emails throughout the sort.
Look up live data to progressively update the Excel sheets.
Use handheld devices to Close and Tender ULDs.
Update Telegram chats accordingly.
Generate ULD Manifests and reports to close and send ULDs.
Send Final Status reports at the end of the sort.
Other duties as assigned.
Keeping up in a fast paced environment!
Requirements:
Must have lived in the United States for a minimum of 3 years.
Must pass a 3 year FBI background check.
Must be able to obtain an airport driving badge.
Must consent to fingerprinting.
Can lift up to 75 lbs.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to walk and stand for long periods of time.
