Hama Hama is seeking a Part-Time HR Generalist to join the Administrative team!

Position Summary:

Reporting to the CFO, the HR Generalist will serve as a critical support function to the shellfish and timber businesses at Hama Hama. You will coordinate a wide range of human resources responsibilities for a team of approximately 50-70 (peak season) including recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, performance management, safety coordination, and employee relations.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

3-5 years of HR Generalist or equivalent experience

Proficiency in HR information systems

Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations

Ability to read, write and speak Spanish

Ability to satisfy the physical requirements of the job, which include (but are not limited to): sitting/desk work, movement and mobility, manual dexterity, lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, visual acuity, and auditory skills.

Total Rewards:

This is a part time year-round position with an initial on-site requirement (potential one-day per week hybrid schedule after successful onboarding). Expected hours of work are Tuesday - Saturday , 20-29 hours per week during normal business hours. Compensation range $20.00 - $40.00 per hour. Newly hired employees generally start within the range of $20.00 - $30.00 per hour. Position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses.
