Overview:
We have a close, awesome team at The Cottages at Marysville and we are hiring! We have an "on call" caregiver position as well as an overnight (11pm-7am) medtech Tuesday- Friday, and Sunday/Monday 7am-11pm and various other shifts. You will play an important role in providing essential physical and emotional care and support to individuals in our memory care community! This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Duties:
Medtechs-
-Passing medications to our residents and charting as required.
-Knowlege of Point Click Care
- Monitor and record vital signs
-Assist care staff as needed
-Provide leadership and direction for staff when nurse is not in the building.
-Fill out state and company required paperwork in a timlely manner, as trained.
-Ability to manage emergency situations calmly.
Care Staff-
- Assist Memory Care residents with activities of daily living
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help Residents with mobility and transfers
- Support Residents with behavioral management and social interactions
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for Residents
- Collaborate with the Nursing Office to ensure the well-being of clients
Requirements:
- HCA or CNA preferred
- Knowledge of first aid techniques
- Ability to lift and assist with mobility needs
- Familiarity with senior care and assisted living requirements
- Proficiency in behavior management strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
