Job Title: Sterilization tech - Periodontal Surgical Office
Job Description:
We are looking for a sterilization tech to join our growing periodontal surgical office. This will be the position that will be suitable for someone entering the dental field. We have had many people who started as sterilization techs, moved on to being surgical assistants, and were successfully admitted into dental schools and hygiene schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. They will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to the dentists and hygienists.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare treatment rooms and equipment
Sterilize instruments and store them
Order and inventory supplies
Provide assistance to our clinical and administrative team
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and grow
