Sterilization Technician
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Sterilization Technician to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sterility of our dental instruments and equipment.
Prior experience is preferred but not requied :)
There will be opportunities for training and advancement into Registered Dental Assistant position for the right candidate!
Part time or Full Time
Responsibilities
- Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment following established protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sterilization area
- Assist with inventory management of supplies related to sterilization
- Adhere to infection control policies and procedures
- Support the dental team with instrument preparation for procedures
Qualifications
- Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred
- Knowledge of four-handed dentistry techniques
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices
- Understanding of medical imaging systems for dental procedures
- Ability to handle medical documentation accurately
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring in a clinical setting
- Exposure to prosthodontics procedures is beneficial
- Willingness to assist dental professionals during procedures
