We are seeking a licensed SLPA to join our team of OTR, SLP, COTA and Special Education staff in our school program. CHILD offers a wonderful environment for therapy practitioners, a full benefit program, and a collaborative team approach that is entirely mission driven.

This position provides an opportunity to work in a pediatric setting committed to a collaborative relationship-based approach to learning where children progress! Supervision will be provided by a neurodiversity-informed SLP. Children's Institute for Learning Differences (CHILD) is committed to providing innovative school programs and therapies that promote social, emotional, and academic development for children with special needs.

At CHILD children ages 4 to 17 present with a variety of diagnosis including learning disabilities, developmental delays, sensory processing disorder, mental health needs, and neurological disorders. Occupational therapy fills a unique role in supporting children, their families, and our staff. Job Requirements:

Certificate degree: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Current, valid Washington State license: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

Experience working with children with special needs.

Flexibility and adaptability in being a part of a school and clinic setting team

Strong, well-established work ethic.

Commitment to relationship-based, collaborative problem-solving models in delivery of therapy services.

Job Type: Full-time. This is a temporary position from the middle of July through December.

Pay: $28.00-35.00 per hour Depending on experience
