Position Summary:
Caregiver for a young adult female. Follow daily routine and personal care needs in negotiated care plan.
Schedule is alternating weekly shifts as follows:
Week 1: Wednesday 9pm to Friday 9pm
Week 2: Wednesday 9pm to Sunday 9pm
No night care between 9pm and 8am, but you must remain onsite during those hours.
Salary: $900 to $1,000 per week DOE (average $3,900 to $4,333 per month).
Includes paid housing consisting of 2 bedrooms and a large bonus room overlooking Lake Washington.
If you choose to live-in, you will be exempt from Federal Income Tax.
Duties:
Provide appropriate support for all aspects of the client’s activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, dressing, eating, toileting, medication management
Facilitate participation in community activities
Drive the client in a wheelchair van
Assist with medications
Assist with household management
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Caregiving or medically related work
HCA/CNA certification is a huge plus
Non-Negotiable:
Able to work legally in US
Non-smoker
Driver’s license
Reliable means of transportation to/from work site
Willing to undergo paid state training if not already certified HCA/CNA
Wages paid every 2 weeks through combination of Washington State and private pay. This is a W-2 position, no cash pay.
