Seattle Pediatric Dentists is seeking energetic, positive, and motivated individuals to join our unique Dental Assistant training program. As a new hire, you'll start by learning the basics of sterilization and infection control, and then progress to working directly with pediatric patients. This hands-on training includes performing cleanings, taking x-rays, and providing oral hygiene education. As you gain proficiency, you'll have the opportunity to expand your skills by learning sealant placement, chair side restorative assisting, and orthodontic assisting. No prior dental experience is necessary— we’re looking for candidates with great character who are excited to grow and join a high-performing team of dental professionals.

Seattle Pediatric Dentists is a boutique pediatric dental practice with a focus on creating a positive and supportive work culture. We are committed to providing the highest level of care to our patients while offering exceptional customer service. We have two locations in Seattle one in Laurelhurst and the other in Magnolia. We specialize in caring for patients with special needs, dental anxiety, and educating young patients about the importance of excellent oral hygiene.

The Right Candidate:

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with children, has a warm and energetic personality, and is eager to contribute to a team of dental healthcare providers. You must be able to work at both our Laurelhurst and Magnolia locations during our scheduled office hours.

Responsibilities:

Assist with sterilization and infection control

Provide patient care and education

Perform dental cleanings

Manage patient behavior with a calm and compassionate approach

Progress through the dental assisting training program

Experience & Qualifications:

Prior experience working in a team-oriented environment

Experience working with children is a plus

No dental experience required—we’re happy to train the right person!

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Certifications & Opportunities:

Opportunity to obtain a Dental Assistant License

CPR/BLS certification

HIPAA/OSHA/WISHA certification
