We are seeking a dedicated Patient Services Coordinator to join our busy practice. This role is vital in managing patient flow and ensuring an efficient, positive experience for our patients and clients. The position is in-person and full-time. Our ideal candidate is looking for a long-term position with room for growth within the practice, has an open and "can-do" attitude, and is willing to learn and better themselves.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Greeting and assisting patients
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Handling phone inquiries
Managing patient records and information (HIPPA)
Managing medical referrals and pre-approvals
Assisting healthcare providers as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certification in Medical Office Assistant/Receptionist or at least 3 years of medical office administrative experience required
Medical Assistant-Registered or Certified Preferred- we offer a track for professional development with MA-R/C. This could be a fantastic opportunity for a new grad from MA School!
Medical Scribe Experience a bonus.
Understanding of HIPPA requirements and basic medical ethics
Dependable and able to prioritize tasks efficiently with self-direction
Professional demeanor and appearance
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
Strong work ethic and commitment to providing excellent patient care
Medical Billing/CPT/AR Invoicing experience a plus
