We are recruiting a 0.8 FTE certified medical assistant (MA-C) to work with a surgical podiatry team in a clinic in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. The location and provider facilitate a small practice/friendly team atmosphere in a large healthcare organization setting (Optum NW). Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate, healthcare, 401k with company match and opportunity for advancement. Additional hours are typically available up to 40 hours per week if desired.
An ideal candidate would have some familiarity with EHR systems (preferably Epic), motivated to support team members and promote positive patient experience.
Duties include typical patient rooming, surgery scheduling, procedure set up and instrument processing, ordering supplies and fitting durable medical equipment. Phlebotomy not required.
Hours: 8:30-5:30 Tuesday - Friday
Punctuality and reliability are essential. Training provided as needed.
