We are looking for a personal care assistant to support a spinal cord injured individual. You must be a good communicator, both listening and talking. Reliability and a positive attitude are essential. Having a sense of humor will make you a good candidate. We are looking to fill a full-time day shift, Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3 pm. Experience preferred, will train. All care is directed by the client. Female caregiver preferred.
Responsibilities include;
Repositioning the client while in bed, ensuring good alignment.
Transferring, with the help of a lift, the client into his chair or the shower chair
Assisting with toileting, bathing, dressing.
Assistance with medication.
Necessary housekeeping.
Must be able to pass a background check with fingerprints.
