I started out working in a hospital setting for almost 20 years in multiple capacities including ER, Unit Secretary, Med-Surg Tech, Phlebotomy, and Medical Billing Specialist (at Valley Medical Hospital in Renton). I have been caregiving ever since! My experiences include in-bed grooming and hygiene, transfers, cooking, feeding, medication compliance, skin care, transportation to doctor visits, interpreting for the speech impaired, laundry, house cleaning, companionship, grocery shopping, medication pick up, etc., to severely disabled bed-bound stroke survivors. While most of my experiences have been with the severely disabled, I obviously have a more than wide enough skill set and experience to assist those with less severe impairments of all ages.
