Queen Anne Dentistry is a small, private dental practice on top of Queen Anne hill. Dr. Jasmyn Blancaflor is dedicated to and passionate about providing high quality dentistry to the community.
Summary
We are seeking a skilled dental assistant to join our team at Queen Anne Dentistry. In this role, you will be essential in supporting our dental team and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow in our practice. We are seeking someone who will uphold our core values of integrity and high quality patient care.
Responsibilities
Assist Dr. Blancaflor during procedures that include crowns, fillings, extractions, root canal treatment, and implant placement
Take accurate, quality digital radiographs
Take impressions and pour up models
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Ensure the dental office is organized, clean, and compliant with health regulations.
Restock rooms and order supplies
Take vitals and medical history and record in digital chart
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a dental practice.
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control practices.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Washington State dental assistant registration is required.
Clinical hours are Tuesday-Wednesday (7-5), Thursday (8-5) and two Fridays a month (8-2). Lunch is from 12-1pm except on Fridays we do not take a lunch.
We are a small, close knit office who like to work hard, but also have fun. We like to do group outings, happy hours on our roof, and potlucks.
