We’re looking for a reliable, experienced, and motivated Lead Dental Assistant to join our growing team.

Position Overview:

The Dental Assistant plays a vital role in the clinical team by managing chairside duties, supporting the dentist in procedures, maintaining accurate records, and overseeing supply inventory and operatory flow.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Compensation: $24-30/hour DOE

Key Responsibilities:

Provide chairside assistance during all clinical procedures

Oversee sterilization protocols, instrument processing, and operatory turnover

Monitor and coordinate dental equipment maintenance and service

Assist in training and mentoring junior dental assistants

Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols

Record and maintain accurate patient treatment documentation in Dentrix

Manage ordering, stocking, and tracking of dental supplies and materials

Fabricate and cement temporary crowns

Take preliminary and final dental impressions

Perform intraoral scans using digital scanning systems

Take digital X-rays

Support patient comfort and education throughout their visit

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental assistant

Proficiency in temporary crowns, impressions, and digital scans

Strong organizational and leadership skills

Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus

Excellent communication and patient care skills
