Job Description for Caregivers in an Adult Family Home:
As a Caregiver, you will:
Provide direct care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing,
grooming, and toileting.
Administer medications and document health changes under supervision.
Prepare and serve meals following dietary requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents.
Monitor residents' well-being and report any concerns to the management team.
Foster a caring and respectful relationship with residents and their families.
Requirements:
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to quality care.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
1. CNA/NAR Certificate (or proof of enrollment in a certification program).
2. CPR and First Aid Certification (valid and up-to-date).
3. Food Handler’s Permit.
4. Negative TB Test Results (recent).
5. ID and Proof of Eligibility to Work in the U.S.
6. References (professional or personal, as requested).
