Full Time - Live in private caregiver wanted. Please send you resume and short note about why you want to be a live in caregiver.
Looking for a good match for a caregiver for patient with Parkinsons. Live-in position with flexible time off during the week or weekends. Caregiver would be responsible for helping with a few basic needs during the day and night, but most of the time will be down time where the caregiver would just be present in the home. We are willing to send the right person to get training, but a CNA or someone with experience with Parkinsons is a plus.
Room and board provided, large home with view, quiet days, you can bring your hobbies or other work with you.
We are flexible to also provide you a time off schedule
Pay depends on experience $5000 - $6000 per month
Current daily needs:
General monitoring when patient is up and about (maybe remind him to use a walker)
Whenever patient gets up an alarm sounds so you know to be aware.
Dressing in the morning,
Medications
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Evening getting ready for bed
Shower assistance
Grocery shopping as needed
Doctor appointments as needed
Around town as needed
