Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients in our adult family home, currently having 8 residents.
Responsibilities
Provide personal care services to clients, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Observe and report any changes in the patient's condition or behavior to the appropriate healthcare staff.
Assist with meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing housekeeping tasks.
Support clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
Administer first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.
Engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client progress.
Requirements
Previous experience in home health, group home, or nursing home settings is preferred.
Strong patient observation skills to monitor client conditions effectively.
Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards clients.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
HCA or CNA or scheduled exam date.
Dementia and Mental Health Certificate Training required.
Nurse delegation core and Nurse delegation diabetes required
Work permit, green card, or citizenship.
This is a W-2 position.
Available Shift
Available shift schedule is Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7am - 7pm.
Occasional overtime also available to cover other shifts.
