Looking for a professional, licensed, and trained caregiver. Ideal candidate will have solid communication skills, be reliable, compassionate, have integrity and be a trusted companion. Great communication skills and a sense of humor is a bonus. Ability to anticipate care, offer suggestions to make clients life easier. Person in need of care is age 60, totally disabled and in a power wheelchair, but has full cognitive ability and very social. Candidates must have their own transportation to and from clients home. This is a W-2 position and only candidates that can have taxes withheld will be considered. Candidates will be given one hour off unpaid during the day for breaks and/or lunch.
Monday, 7 AM to 5 PM
Tuesday, 7 AM to 5 PM
Wednesday, 7 AM to 5 PM
Thursday, 7 AM to 5 PM
Saturday, 7 AM to 4 PM
Sunday, 7 AM to 4 PM
Job requirements:
Prepare meals for the client: breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner.
Assist with all ADLs (daily living activities).
Drive the client to and from shopping, social activities, and doctor appointments.
Adeptly utilize a Hoyer lift
Perform light housekeeping including, but not limited to: dusting, using a dry Swiffer, laundry, maintaining a tidy and clean kitchen, taking out trash and recyclables and other general housekeeping tasks in client's apartment.
Must hold a current home health aide or certified nurse's aide license
Must have current first aid/CPR certifications.
Must be able to pass the background check
Must have a valid driver's license and insurance.
Candidate must live within 30 minutes driving from downtown Seattle.
