Long term professional care needed regularly Tuesday - Friday from 11am - 6pm for my 49 year old son in my home in East Bremerton (Manette).
Physically needs help with mobility and transfers and assistance with toileting, so must be physically able to lift approximately 40 pounds (he's heavier than that, but helps out with some of his own weight while transferring).
Socially he's a wonderful guy with an amazing sense of humor who loves telling jokes (his speech is slow and slurred, so you have to listen carefully), playing games, and doing anything artistic. The right person must have an extroverted and patient personality.
Background check required along with Home Care Aide Certification within 6 months of starting position. The certification includes 75 hours of paid training (training paid at $18/hr).
