Job Opportunity: Restaurant Manager/Beertender at Valley House Brewing Co.

Are you passionate about craft beer, great food, and delivering exceptional guest experiences? Valley House Brewing Co., a brewery and restaurant located on the Snoqualmie River in Old Town Duvall, is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic leader to join our team as a Restaurant Manager/Beertender. This unique position offers a mix of administrative responsibilities and guest-facing leadership, providing a rewarding and varied work environment.

Position Overview:

This dual-role position includes hourly paid administrative duties and tipped shifts as a beertender and floor shift lead. We’re seeking a team player with strong leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused setting. Ideally, this role is 35-40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Duties (Hourly Pay):

Overseeing daily operations and ensuring a smooth workflow.

Scheduling staff and managing shift coverage.

Assisting with inventory management, ordering supplies, and tracking stock levels.

Handling guest inquiries, reservations, and special events coordination.

Running our loyalty program (Homesteaders Club) and engaging with our local community.

Organizing and executing both onsite and offsite events.

Maintaining compliance with health and safety standards.

Managing labor control to meet operational needs and budget goals.

Beertending Shifts (Hourly Pay + Tips):

Providing exceptional guest service at the bar and dining area.

Leading the floor shift, ensuring smooth operations and team coordination.

Educating guests about our craft beer offerings and food pairings.

Handling transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling.

Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area.

Excelling in this role means maximizing guest satisfaction and, in turn, earning better tips. Our bartenders consistently earn strong tips per hour.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in restaurant management, beertending, or a similar role is highly desirable.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Passion for craft beer and knowledge of brewing is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead and inspire a team while maintaining a positive work environment.

Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
