Award-winning bakery & café is looking for pastry assistance with production experience in a PROFESSIONAL kitchen to produce some of the finest pastries in all of Seattle! This job would require availability from Sunday to Thursday, with possible availability on Friday or Saturday as well. Please, no summer only applicants. We have a wonderful, fun, committed staff, who put their heart and soul into every item we make. Our team has been working together for more than a dozen years – we are like “una familia” – we’re looking for a skilled individual with the right attitude to join us!

Essential “ingredients” for qualified candidates include:

- To possess a natural ability & love for the art of pastry-making

- To possess a knowledge of the various items in laminated doughs, etc., i.e., Croissants, Danish, Kouign Amann, Canelés, Brioche, Quiche, etc.

- To be attentive to detail and to producing consistently high-quality products

- To be a self-sufficient, well-organized and extremely efficient worker

- To have completed a minimum of 1 year in a PROFESSIONAL pastry kitchen and/or a bakery. Recent CULINARY GRADUATES – this would be an amazing opportunity for you to get your foot in the door at an award-winning French patisserie

- To be proficient and able to handle strict time restraints to ensure all pastries are ready

Current position is full-time (approx. 32 hours) - you will have a prep schedule that needs to be done each day. Work schedule would be approx. 6pm – 12pm (we are located in Gilman Village in Issaquah – super safe). Ideally the position would also include stocking food, dishwashing, and whatever else is needed to run the bakery as best as possible. This requires an extremely responsible, trustworthy individual who has the utmost respect for producing consistently exquisite pastries.

Pay rate is DOE, approx. $18-21
