bel gatto is an Italian bakery & trattoria located in the Fauntleroy neighborhood in West Seattle. We are currently hiring for both AM and PM cooks. We are a new restaurant and a part of CHOW Foods; a well established restaurant group with 5 concepts in Seattle and Tacoma.
We are a small team at bel gatto. Everyone participates in prep, line cooking, baking, dishwashing etc. We are a scratch kitchen, making everything from pizza dough to pasta, meat fabrication to baked goods all in-house. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for food, a desire to learn and a preference for working with a small team.
We offer both full and part time positions with benefits ranging from medical/dental/vision insurance for full time (25+ hours per week) to employee discounts at multiple restaurants and advancement opportunities.
At bel gatto all gratuities are split evenly between front and back of house and managers are not in the tip pool!
