King Leroy / Great State Burger is seeking a line cook to join the team at our new
location in Lincoln Square in Bellevue. We have a unique kitchen that serves both the
full menu of Great State Burger, and a bar menu available in our bar.
At King Leroy, we aim to be the most approachable and welcoming bar in The Bellevue
Collection. Our food is hearty and comforting, in a classic American style. Chili cheese
fries, baked potatoes, and nachos compliment the organic grass-fed beef burgers of
Great State to satisfy our diverse customer base.
The ideal candidate will have years of experience cooking in a similar setting. Our
kitchen is small and tight-knit, so a team oriented attitude is required. Knife skills,
knowledge of deep fryers and flat-tops, and a sense of urgency will lead you to success
in this position.
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position.
Training wage:17.25 to 17.25/hour
Starting pay: $17.25/hour to $17.25/hour plus tips
Pay range for position: $17.25/hour to $18.25/hour plus tips.
This is a tip-pooled house. Tips are calculated daily x hours worked - approx $8 per
hour.
Requirements for the position:
Hold active state-required permits.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and spend up to six hours standing/walking.
Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Paid time off / Paid Sick Leave -
o For part-time (Working 25 or fewer hours a week /seasonal employees) - As required
under Washington's Paid Sick Leave law, the employee will be accruing 0.025 hours of
Paid Sick Leave for each hour worked.
o For full-time employees (Working 25 or more hours a week): the employee will be
accruing 0.038 hours of Paid Time Off for each hour worked up to 80 hours a year. After
5 years of working with the company, the employee will start accruing 0.057 hours of
Paid Time Off up to 120 hours a year.
