We are looking for a Kitchen Manager for our SUPREME U District location. Our other spots include Supreme West Seattle, New Luck Toy, Ma'ono and Benbow Room. This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced pizza cook that wants to learn management, or a cook with a management background that would like to learn pizza. A combination of both Pizza and Management is ideal.
Our food and our company culture are simple, yet very detail-oriented. All cooks take a direct role in customer interaction, as well as cooking, prepping, restocking and running food. We are open daily from 11a - 10p-midnight (depending upon day of week).
We are seeking someone with a positive attitude, who takes joy from doing things right, works well in a team (and leading a team), has strong communication skills and wants to mentor others.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Quality control
Keeping food cost in line with set goals
Placing orders (we have great relationships with all of our vendors)
Hiring, training, scheduling and developing kitchen staff
Leading by example, but delegating as appropriate
Finding coverage and/or covering shifts when needed
Ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen (and compliance with health dept)
Overall making sure the kitchen is running as smoothly and efficiently as possible
Weekend availability is a must. Full-time is needed for this position. A combination of morning and evening shifts are ideal.
