OVERVIEW
Harry’s Guest House in Capitol Hill is seeking a housekeeper to join our cleaning team. This is a hybrid role where you will be checking in guests as well as turning over both units of our two-unit boutique accommodations. You would be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the property between guest stays. This includes tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, changing linens, vacuuming and mopping floors, dusting furniture, and restocking amenities. Additionally, you would be tasked with communicating with guests regarding their stay and reporting any damages or maintenance issues to the property owner or manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Communicate with team members to identify needs of the Guest House.
-Implement cleaning and preparation protocols to guarantee the optimal condition of the guest house between guest stays, maintaining a standard of excellence in cleanliness and presentation.
-Facilitate the seamless check-in process for guests, ensuring a welcoming and efficient arrival experience.
-Engage proactively with guests, consistently seeking feedback and addressing inquiries to ensure a personalized and high-quality stay exceeding guest expectations.
-Laundering linens and towels, identifying and removing stains.
-Cleaning and stocking bathrooms.
-Notifying owners of necessary repairs.
-Collecting and disposing of trash.
-Assisting guests when necessary.

-Properly cleaning upholstered furniture.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
-Ability to manage your time efficiently.
-Work well unsupervised.
-Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
-Handle basic maintenance and cleaning.
-High school diploma.
-Comfortable with apps and technology.
-Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests.
-Hard worker.
