Girardi's Osteria is hiring a Host/Busser to start immediately
Girardi's is a full service Italian restaurant in the same location for 25 years. It is an institution with a lot of tradition in Edmonds, and with a very loyal following. It is a healthy and friendly work environment.
Qualifications and job functions include (and we'll teach you how to do them):
Happy with a smile, respectful, compassionate and caring for people's needs, effective in phone and personal communication
Take phone orders or reservations, greet guests and guide them to available tables
Use POS and charge customer credit cards correctly
Turn in accurate paperwork
Help with Bussing, filling water, clearing and cleaning tables, run food
Package phone/web orders and have ready for customer pick up
Just be an all-around high energy influence and super help
Most days there will be other hosts/bussers working with you
Close proximity to work and reliable transportation is a must
Not just a busser job or just a host job, this is a combination host/busser position
This is a great steady position that requires availability, punctuality, dedication, attention and a strong desire to serve restaurant guests. You will typically be scheduled for between 5 and 14 hours of work per week but more is possible.
Job Requirement: Preference is for the candidates who can start work Thursdays and Fridays at 11 am.

You will receive around $20/hr ($17.50/hr in base wage and a share of the tip pool currently averaging between $2.25 to $2.75 per hour.)
We allow staff to order from our entire menu half-off during their shifts, and free soda and coffee. We also provide family dinner discount of 20% on the entire bill when you dine with your family during your off days.
