Experienced Cooks, for Sunday mornings and Mon, Tues, Friday and Sat afternoon/evening shifts for popular restaurant on Alki Beach, West Seattle. Your schedule must include these shifts. You must have good communication skills, be professional, friendly and be able to work in support of your team. Other shifts may be available on an on-call basis.
Duties and Requirements:
Ideally 2 years Grill/Fry experience in a fast paced restaurant or kitchen; must also be customer service oriented, self directed, professional and highly motivated.
Must be able to respond to customer and ticket orders quickly and accurately.
Must be able to work quickly under pressure, follow instructions and work as a team.
Responsible for safely preparing food items and properly storing food, supplies and equipment.
Must be able to read and follow recipes precisely; good knife skills a plus
Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds of products, supplies and equipment.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, smell and taste to determine integrity, freshness, and proper seasoning.
Able to stand for long periods of time, make visual inspections, work in a tight, fast paced, warm/hot environment.
Must be a strong reader, excellent communicator, team oriented and comfortable with technology - email, texting, possess a working cell phone.
Candidates must have or attain a Washington State Food Worker Card, reliable transportation, strong communication skills, be friendly, flexible, willing to learn and jump in where needed.
