Piroshky Piroshky, a PNW based company serving original recipes and handmade products for close to 30 years. Our doors first opened in Seattle's historic Pike Place Market in 1992, offering a unique food experience to both locals and travelers alike. We prize the special connection we have with our customers who visit us time and time again. After acclimating through the crisis in 2020, our company now offers a variety of ways for our fans to enjoy our offerings even when they are unable to make it to our bakery. From Pop up spots throughout the state of Washington, Oregon and California, and with more states to come, to home deliveries and national shipping. We are excited for the new connections and memories to come.

Our bakery is seeking individuals with a strong eye for details that can supervise their team both personably and with vision.

Piroshky Piroshky is searching for a full-time team front of house lead at our flagship store in the Pike Place Market.

Some things that are important for us in considering a candidate:

-Previous Managerial/Supervisory experience, supervising at least 6-8 front of house employees on the floor ( back of house team that includes our bakers are a separate team)

-Successful past supervisory experience in a high volume food establishment

-Ability to evaluate and understand the uniqueness of our product and brand

-Comfortable building rapport with both staff and clientele

-Excellent verbal and written communications skills that allow you to comfortably guide and coach staff

-Desire and ability to offer innovative and creative ideas that lend to a growing local small business

-Work in the bakery setting, which includes exposure to high amount of flour, spices, meat smells, high temperatures, relative humidity, continuous repetitive movement

-Dependable transportation

-Flexible schedule

Responsibilities include :

-Ensuring staff and store performance meet company policies and goals ( sales goals as well as company handbook rules)

-Training and ongoing coaching of both new hires and established staff

-Consistent communication with both management and staff

-Schedule changes according to circumstances

-Inventory and ordering duties

-working on average 32-40/hrs a week (Work/Life balance is must)

Compensation Breakdown:

$20.00/hr+ tips ( an additional $5-$8.00/hr )

During the summer (Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, our full time staff are compensated an extra $3.00/hr on top of their base pay due to increase in the volume of business and the added complexities that come with that.
