Two Doors Down, an independently owned beer and burger bar located on the backside of Capitol Hill, is looking for an experienced FOH crew member to join our team. We’re looking for someone who can work three to four shifts a week (approximately 18-23 hours), and who has prior key-holder experience or experience opening and/or closing a restaurant. Hours of operation are 4 pm to 10:30 pm on weekdays and 11:30 am to 10:30 pm on weekends. A minimum of one weekend shift is required, but otherwise we can work with your current schedule if necessary. Duties include:
Working directly with our customers, taking food orders, delivering food to tables, running credit cards, bussing and light dishwashing.
Opening and closing duties as required, including mopping at close.
Upholding the highest of food safety standards.
Serving beer and other beverages. We feature 20 beers and ciders on draft along with assorted nonalcoholic beverages.
Working with third-party delivery services such as Uber and DoorDash.
Making delicious milkshakes.
If you currently live in the Seattle area and are looking for a job in a fast-casual restaurant this job could be for you. Our burgers are great – they contain no hormones or antibiotics – and are consistently featured on the Eater Hot Map and other area food sites. You must have a food handlers permit and MAST permit and you must be over 21 years of age. The job pays minimum wage plus a percentage of the tip sharing pool – the average take home pay is $30 hour inclusively.
